　　杨帆的航船，
+ R6 f  j  K$ t' K　　an opening flower,
　　绽放的鲜花，

　　夜幕中的小镇，
; `5 ?/ P9 f+ H3 v: \　　the song of the blackbird,
　　优美的诗行，
　　a lovely poem,
　　可爱的诗人
　　leaf shadows,
: o9 H2 w: {/ A6 l+ }( W　　婆娑的树影，
　　a child’s grace,
　　孩童的烂漫，
# P' F1 m9 _6 P' f　　the starry skies,
( ^1 H: E( [$ A- v7 R. G　　漫天的繁星
) c' S! B8 i! ]$ [, M1 d) W　　apple trees in spring,

　　sheep-bells on a hill,

　　a rippling stream,
　　一道潺潺流水，
　　a butterfly,

　　the crescent moon,

　　the thousand sights or sounds or words

　　这些使我们潜生美感的万千景象，音籁和词句
　　these are the drops of rain
. e  S9 o8 |) U4 P, {! v　　that keep the human spirit from death by drought.
　　仿佛雨露般滋润着我们干涸的心田。
　　They are a stealing and silent refreshment

　　that we perhaps do not think about,
　　在我们不经意中荡涤尘寰
　　but which goes on all the time.
　　绵延不断

　　美是大地的笑容，
; ]5 [* l6 d9 j, e* C5 R　　open to all, and needs but the eyes to see,
　　the mood to understand.
